\u201cI am a patient man,\u201d he replied, but shook off the other bracer, smiling as it crashed to the floor. \u00a0He brought the hand back up and slid the shoulder off her shirt, tracing the angles with his fingers. \u00a0Just then, the light filtered through the window and lit up her face, and Loki swore that she glowed. \u00a0He leaned in and kissed her gently, unable to stop himself from the act. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Just a day ago, Summer would have been prepared to swear there was nothing gentle about Loki of Asgard. The softness of his kiss curled her toes, and she couldn\u2019t help closing her eyes, the better to taste him. The little part of Summer that wasn’t caught up in the spine-tinglingness of that kiss was busy damning her lack of height.
