{"id":35566,"date":"2012-07-29T21:59:41","date_gmt":"2012-07-29T21:59:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.firechildren.net\/lightfire\/iamthefirechild\/2012\/07\/29\/feline-bliss-closed-rp-21\/"},"modified":"2012-07-29T21:59:41","modified_gmt":"2012-07-29T21:59:41","slug":"feline-bliss-closed-rp-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.firechildren.net\/lightfire\/iamthefirechild\/2012\/07\/29\/feline-bliss-closed-rp-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Feline Bliss | Closed RP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"tumblr_blog\" href=\"http:\/\/liesmith-loki.tumblr.com\/post\/28277191896\/feline-bliss-closed-rp\">liesmith-loki<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Loki had settled on catnip. \u00a0It had been the first cat treat he\u2019d seen at the pet store, and after staring at the rather staggering selection, he\u2019d decided that it would be as good as any of the others. \u00a0Macrowafter had seemed to approve\u2014he\u2019d oozed down from Loki\u2019s shoulder and onto his arm to sniff at the bag, and the busily was trying to disembowel it as Loki paid the clerk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, Cat\u2014not yet,\u201d Loki said, putting the bag on a high shelf in the kitchen as Macrowafter hooked his claws into Loki\u2019s ankle. \u00a0\u201dEat your dinner first!\u201d \u00a0Loki stepped out into the parlor, busying himself with closing curtains in that room and his bedroom before changing into a more comfortable pair of loose trousers and a dark green t-shirt. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The sight that greeted him was unexpected\u2014but only if one did not know what to anticipate when dealing with an acrobatic, resourceful, <em>intelligent<\/em> cat. \u00a0 Macrowafter was stretched out on his back on the counter, paws waving at nothing, eyes wide\u2014and he was covered in catnip. \u00a0The rest of it lay strewn everywhere on counter and floor, a green, pungent mess. \u00a0Macrowafter sort of rolled and then went still, staring at Loki out of eyes whose pupils had dilated almost beyond recognition.<\/p>\n<p>Alarm consuming him, Loki scooped Cat up and was out of the flat like a shot, clattering down the stairs to bang on the door of a certain other flat.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A strangled yelp answered him, followed by what sounded like something hitting the floor hard and an outraged feline noise. &#8220;****, IT&#8217;S OPEN!
