\u201cI haven\u2019t been out of town a whole lot since we met back up, to be honest,\u201d Jane said, and shrugged. \u201cI\u2019m sure he would fly me somewhere if I asked him to, but I\u2019ve just been taking jets from either S.H.I.E.L.D. or Stark Industries. Working for them all comes with perks.\u201d She chuckled, taking a sip from her coffee.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell\u2026 what do you mean? I know he\u2019s kind of\u2026 y\u2019know. He\u2019s just. He\u2019s Thor. There\u2019s no other way to put it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so jealous of you right now, I can\u2019t even say. I mean,\u201d Summer shrugged, \u201cokay, I have some powers, and I can fly too, but I am so low down on the totem pole, you would not believe. And here you are, famous scientist girl with the hot boyfriend and the most amazing friends on the planet. I bet our old classmates would have a \/cow\/ if they could see you now.\u201d<\/p>\n

She grinned. \u201cOne more nosey question and then I swear I\u2019ll stop.\u201d Summer picked up one last doughnut, and giving Jane the side-eye, licked at the frosting slowly. \u201cWhat\u2019s he like \u2026 in bed?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Jane sputtered into her coffee, setting the cup down and putting a hand over her mouth so she didn\u2019t just spit it everywhere. Oh, she should\u2019ve seen that one coming. Most people didn\u2019t ask, so she didn\u2019t have to think about it, but Summer definitely wasn\u2019t most people.<\/p>\n

Once she had finally swallowed, she shrugged. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t be able to tell you, honestly,\u201d she said. \u201cWe haven\u2019t done too much more than kissing. I think he\u2019s afraid of offending me, and I\u2019m afraid of offending him.\u201d She chuckled and rolled her eyes. \u201cHe might also be afraid of hurting me. He squeezed me too hard when we were making out on the couch and I had bruises for a week and a half. He doesn\u2019t know about the bruises, but he knows it hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Summer dropped the doughnut like it burned her and hit herself in the forehead. “Don’t you two even talk?” she said, under the hand. “Good grief, Jane. Look, I’m not going to say this to hurt you, but seriously, I never thought of you as a coward.”<\/p>\n

Summer dropped her hand and looked into Jane’s eyes, her face very serious. “You’re not doing yourself any favours being afraid. You say he’s sincere and honest and wonderful, so hold on to that and be honest back to him.” She leaned back in the chair, arms folded. “You’re serious about him, right?
