i\u2019d like the agents of shield creators to know that not making isabelle hartley explicitly say she was victoria\u2019s girlfriend or she was gay doesn\u2019t make them killing her any less awful<\/p>\n

if you wanted to just kill a random character you shouldn\u2019t have picked the name of one that appears in\u00a0one<\/em>\u00a0marvel comics issue for the sake of being victoria hand\u2019s girlfriend<\/p>\n

there are thousands of marvel comics characters and you specifically chose one that was queer and made her show up in one episode and then you killed her<\/p>\n

it doesn\u2019t matter if you made her queer in canon or not because you left that implied by giving her the name of a queer character<\/p>\n

so no i don\u2019t care if she was canonically queer in the show or not you did kill yet another queer character who was amazing and should\u2019ve stayed way longer on the show<\/p>\n

and i\u2019m pissed at you for all the hype and for making me so excited to see her character development and her storylines just so that you could surprise me with the plot twist that was her death<\/p>\n

it\u2019s not cool to fool the fans of your show who are always hoping for more queer and female representation into thinking you\u2019re going to give them a cool new recurring character just so that you can surprise everyone by killing said character<\/p>\n

you could\u2019ve achieved the same surprise effect by having a cis white male touch the 084 and then die so it\u2019s not fine that you decided to do it to a queer female<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
