The sheer offhandedness of his remark made her giggle, and she tugged him into the room and helped him eat it. They didn\u2019t quite clear the table, but it was close, and she revelled in that pleasant feeling of having eaten slightly too much. It was probably different for him, since he was both more used to eating that much, and his body required more fuel than hers.<\/p>\n

Rafael entered the room and began to clear the dishes away. On his way out he said stiffly, \u201cThe Princess Cora is here, master Isaac. She waits in the antechamber.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Her laughter was infectious, and everytime he heard the adorably wonderful sound pass her lips, he couldn\u2019t stop his own smile from forming almost instantly. He was relieved that despite everything that had happened, Summer still was able to find some good in the world, and he truly admired that ability.<\/p>\n

“Thank you, Rafael. I\u2019ll be with her as soon as I\u2019ve finished my breakfast,” he stated in a dismissive tone, before sighing and rolling his eyes. “I wonder what she wants\u2026.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Summer folded her hands in her lap, wishing she had some spinning or sewing to occupy them. She looked down, rubbing her thumbs in her palms. “Maybe you should go and find out?
