I\u2019m trying to save your life here and you\u2019re being an increasingly difficult passenger to handle!&#8221; Sir Isaac snapped and then slumped down in defeat, swaying and looking sick at her following words. &#8220;And you expected me to just stand by and what? Watch? Leave you there? I\u2019m actually offended that you think so little of me, Miss.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She flushed at his justified reprimand, and uncurled her hands. &#8220;You are correct, my lord. I apologise. I am grateful, truly.
