“Laurence, stop that,” Summer scolded, trying to pry the child\u2019s hand away. She made the mistake of looking into Sir Isaac\u2019s face, and color flared in her cheeks.<\/p>\n

The boy continued to say, \u201cfix it,\u201d and, abandoning his efforts to pull Sir Isaac over to Summer, started trying to put their hands together.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“I don\u2019t mind — he\u2019s only trying to look out for his older sister, that\u2019s all. You would make a very good Knight someday, Laurence, if you were willing to think that far ahead,” he praised the small boy, before smiling tenderly at Summer\u2019s complexion, thinking how the blush made her look even more radiant.<\/p>\n

\u201dSummer\u2026do I have your permission to \u2018fix it\u2019? It seems that a certain someone is quite determined to have his way.\u201d Sir Isaac shrugged and allowed the boy to dictate his movements.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
