Tony cringed behind his faceplate as the comm. briefly shrieked out a piercing noise, and he did his best to hold in a snicker.<\/p>\n

-The suit is not malfunctioning, Miss Summer,-<\/strong> <\/em>Jarvis replied. \u00a0-Mr. Stark\u2019s free fall is not uncontrolled.-<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Tony plummeted about two thirds of the way down, before his boots and his gauntlets flared, once, twice, three times, slowing him down before bringing him to a halt entirely. \u00a0He made a show of inspecting one gauntlet, the other being used for stabilizing. \u00a0\u201dFancy that. \u00a0Not dead. \u00a0Suit\u2019s in one piece. \u00a0Didn\u2019t need Jarvis to squeeze into a suit. \u00a0\u2019Stupid\u2019 appears to have not happened. \u00a0You know you said that with your comm. on earlier, right?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“I’m gonna kill you,” she growled. “I’m gonna kill you and then get Loki to resurrect you so I can do it again. You did that on purpose. I hate you.” She disdained to respond to his question, deciding it was beneath her notice. There would be words with Jarvis later about private communications.
