“That\u2019s horrific,” whispered Kaylee.\u00a0 “They\u2026they messed up her brain tryin\u2019 to do something as can\u2019t be done?”<\/p>\n

“Oh, it can be done,” said Simon grimly.\u00a0 “They succeeded.<\/p>\n
