Isaac cried out in surprise at the sudden rush of feeling and arousal slamming into him like a freight train, eyes comically wide as his knees buckled. Slumping against the wall, he gazed up at the approaching figure, pleading with his eyes as he let out a pitiful little whimper.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“What will happen if you \u2014 lose control?” Summer shook her head, stepped closer again. “It\u2019s \u2014 it\u2019s my house. I won\u2019t leave you here like this.”\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“I d-don\u2019t know\u2026this is the f-first time this has h-happened\u2026” He shivered and clamped his chattering jaw shut, rocking back and forth as he shook his head in vehement protest. “I-I\u2019ll g-go then\u2026c-can\u2019t put you in d-danger!”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Slowly, she reached out, brushed her fingertips against his skin. It was less shocking this time; she was prepared for it. “I think,” she said, equally slowly, “you put yourself in danger resisting. You won’t hurt me unless the heat forces you into it. So let go. I’ll catch you.
