Abruptly, Jesse was in her face, grabbing her shoulders and shaking her until her head wobbled. \u201cLet him go, you bitch, let him go, I\u2019ll fucking knock you out if you don\u2019t let him go.\u201d She flailed at him, helplessly, trying to pry his hands off her. She didn\u2019t even have a moment to savor Isaac\u2019s words.<\/p>\n

“If I could do that,” she gasped, “don\u2019t you think I\u2019d be keeping you off me?”<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m immune,” he ground out.<\/p>\n

“You\u2019re crazy.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Equally abruptly, he let her go, shoving her to the ground. Jesse turned to Isaac. \u201cYou don\u2019t love her, kid. She put you under a spell, she\u2019s making you think you love her. Get away from her, it\u2019ll fade.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Isaac snarled loudly and in warning, uncaring about what the other male thought of such a reaction as long as he backed off of her. \u201cLet her go — I won\u2019t tell you again,\u201d he demanded in a hiss, nails elongating and curling as he made a partial shift, fighting the urge to simply tackle him to the ground.<\/p>\n

And then she fell and he ran to her, human once more as he gathered her into his arms and pillowed her head on his lap, eyes scanning her for injuries. As he placed a hand over hers to heal any aches and pains caused by the other male, he lifted his eyes and arched an eyebrow. \u201cLet me be the judge of that?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Jesse snorted. “You \/can’t\/, aren’t you even listening? She took away your free will. Trust me, you don’t love that. There’s nothing there to love; she just wants a fuck.”<\/p>\n
