Once again the most transparently innocent, pleading, sweet expression came over her face. She even batted her eyelashes.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Derek couldn\u2019t help but give a little laugh at her \u2018pleading\u2019 expression. \u201cEven silent there\u2019s just attitude radiating off of you,\u201d he said with a roll of his eyes. \u201cAlright, the girls I\u2019m referring to are Kira and Lydia. Kira is a kitsune, very sweet, very helpful. Lydia, banshee, very fashionable, extremely intelligent.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The words should mean something, but every time she grasped for the meaning she came up short.
