She lifted an eyebrow as she looked at the other girl, she was worried. But she wasn’t going to show it. ”What was all that about anyway?”
“You dumped a lot of anger, and I wasn’t doing a thing to shield it out. It’s gotta go somewhere, hon.” She flopped over, trying to get the muscle that had been spasming to stretch out. “The convulsions are the default result.” Into the cushions, she went on, “I hurt you, I pushed too hard, so I paid for it.”
She sighed as she laid down on top of her, her head on Summer’s lap, ”I have better control of my anger than that, still it was wrong for me to have lashed at you like I did.” She said folding her hands on top of her stomach.
“You have better control of the display,” Summer corrected. “Doesn’t stop you from feeling it, let me assure you. You could have the best poker face in the world, and be bubbling like a fucking volcano inside where nobody but me would know. And it’s not like I have to go fishing around for it; I’d have to work to keep it /out/, in fact.” Brushing at Deva’s hair, she added, “Thank you for apologising. I’m sorry I pushed you so hard.”
She shrugged, closing her eyes and leaning into Summer’s hand. Being petted being a large weakness, ”I told you it’s fine, just don’t tell anyone you have seen me this relaxed, I have a reputation to keep intact.”
Summer laughed. “I’ll keep your secrets, never fear, little sister. You’ve given me so few, it won’t be hard.” She kept stroking, running random locks through her fingers. ”Are you truly Loki’s daughter?”
