“You might to sit down for this one, I’m not sure you won’t melt into a puddle if I keep going,” Tony admitted with a smirk. “I do have half a mind to just push you against that wall though….”

Summer had to laugh at his arrogance. “You could not be more arrogant if you tried, could you? Well.” Smirking back at him, full of confidence, she went on, “Please, please, Mr Stark, have your wicked way with me.”

He actually stopped dead in his tracks and laughed at her. “Oh, if you think this is arrogant…This is only the previews, sweetheart,” the engineer stated with a smug grin. “Either way….the show’s about to begin,” he murmured as he stepped closer to her.

“I’m just ecstatic.” Summer lowered her head, then peeked through her eyelashes. “What should I anticipate?”

“I don’t think you should anticipate all that much, Summer. I’m not that easy.” He laughed harshly and stepped back, as he battled with the equations in his mind. Return to the lab and accomplish something, finish projects….or give in to temptation. Decisions Decisions, he thought to himself.

The flirtatious expression slid away, replaced by acknowledgement, bitterness. Her laugh nearly matched his, though there was no trace of amusement on her face. “And thus my thesis is proven.” She had to pause and clear her throat.
