“If it’s making you upset, it’s not minor,” she scolded. “But see, you have talked to me, and now you feel some better. Even if you’re just mostly laughing at my absurdism,” she said wryly. She patted his knee.
“Yes, I have a tendency to laugh at such things,” he shakes his head, still smiling. “My ‘family’ would not be very adept at handling matters of… the heart. Dummy, perhaps, but I highly doubt the others could.”
“Bless, darlin’, it’s just fine. I know I’m weird.” Summer smiled and headbutted his knee. “How about this. From now on, if you need to talk about emotions, you just call me. I’m good with emotions; I have to be. You don’t have to tell me any names, just as much as you feel like you can tell, and I will listen and be absurd for you.”
