Johnny’s eyebrows shot up at what she was insinuating. Not saying she was wrong in her assumption, just that Johnny definitely did not see that coming. “My brain can multi-task.”

“Oh really?” she teased. “That’s not what I hear. You’ve always seemed pretty one track to me.” She laughed at the expression on his face. “Don’t change, Johnny. I quite like you as you are, one track mind and all.”

He gave a very genuine smile. “That’s very comforting, thank you.” Johnny considered what she said earlier. “Okay, yeah I’d say I’m a one track mind kind of guy, but really it’s more a craving for fun than anything else. I don’t care what it is, to an extent, as long as it’s fun.” Really, he hadn’t done much in the way of enjoyment anyways. “You don’t by any chance know anything fun to do, do you?”

“I know lots of fun things to do. You looking for something in particular?” Summer’s green eyes warmed. “You’re always looking for something in particular, though, is what I hear.” She winked. “Flying could be fun.”

“You know, I may be lecherous and a bit of a playboy, but it’s not the only thing I think about. Food is a close second,” he retorted in mock defensiveness, giving a sassy scoff and laying a hand on his chest as if he were offended. Johnny thought about the suggestion, dropping his hand to his side. “I guess it just depends on where we’re flying. You can fly, right?” he asked, not remembering much about her.

“Oh yes. Possibly faster than you. Shall we try it?” Summer balanced a little flame on her fingertip, smiling. “Possibly we can investigate those other things you think about later.” She stepped toward the exit, checking over her shoulder to see if he would follow.
