“All right, all right,” she smiled. Grabbing a handful of popcorn, she tried to feed it to him over her shoulder, squirming a little against him. “Why do you always call me a minx?”
He pulled himself up to take her offering of popcorn and chewed. Victor smirked at her question. “Because you’re just as mischievous and just as much trouble as one,” he said, his tone affectionately teasing.
“Harmless and innocent!” she declared, eating popcorn herself. “And adorable. I’m a cat, meow, not a minx.”
“Harmless and innocent,” Victor muttered as he shook his head, grinning. “You are adorable however, little kitten,” he said as he chuckled a bit and kissed her shoulder.
Summer declared, “I try. Can’t you see my halo?” She pointed above her head, cocking her head side to side. “Everyone always wants to assume the worst of me. Mrrrr.”
