She laughed. “Not what you’re thinking, apparently! But if we’ve so very much time, perhaps I should be thinking what you’re thinking.”
Victor ducked his head shyly. “I’m sorry, what were you thinking? Besides, wouldn’t you want to wait till later tonight….darling?” He smiled and let his accent come through more thickly.
Summer shivered slightly. “I was wondering how much time I had to play with my hair, that’s all.”
“Oh, well, you have plenty of time then.” He was intent on teasing her and he eliminated all pretense of personal space. His hand tilted her chin, “How were you planning on doing your hair up?” he asked before stepping back suddenly.
“I thought maybe a french braid.” She followed his step, eyes dancing. “Did you want to watch?”
