“I really do.” Carefully she slipped past the curtain behind Victor, planting a quick kiss on his shoulderblades. “One day,” she sighed, “I’ll be able to buy a house with a big shower and a separate tub.”
Victor nodded as he lathered some shampoo in his hair. “If you ever want some help with that love you need only ask. I, myself, want to take the time out some day and build my own house,” He trailed off wistfully, “Some island somewhere.”
“You’ll starve,” she predicted equitably. “Islands are nice, but ultimately not that practical. Shame, really.”
