“You should kill them.” Tony laughed, stroking her hair. “I finally watched Carrie. You could totally do that stuff. Just set them on fire or whatever.” He grinned. “Or we could just lay here on the couch complaining about people forever. I’m fine with either honestly.”
That stirred a laugh out of her. “Are you going to break me out of jail if I do set them on fire?” Summer set the tea aside, looking up at Tony with tear-wet lashes, but trying to smile.
“Probably not,” Tony teased. “To come bail you out of jail I’d have to put on pants. Totally not worth it. I’ll be sure to pick you up when you get out in like fifty years though.”
“I don’t think I’ll set them on fire, then, I’d miss you too much. Looks like lying here complaining is the order of the day.” She snuggled closer to Tony. “So long as those girls don’t take you away from me, I will ignore them. I belong with you.”
