“Say that again,” she pleaded.
“What? That I’m scared of you?” He grinned.
“No, the other.” Biting at her lip, she did her best to look innocent and appealing and entirely adorable.
“Why, Summer, I’m sure I just have to idea what you mean.” Tony smirked, determined to not give in. “Maybe you could give me a hint.”
She poked him in the side. “Don’t be like that! It’s already been a bad day.”
“It’s not my fault that you’re being vague.” He grinned, poking her back. “Now what exactly do you want me to say?”
She wrinkled her nose at him disgustedly. “Tony. Fine.” She turned her face away, sighing a little. “Say you love me?”
