“An’ I would miss you dearly, my darlin’ Summer.” His voice was as soft as hers and the kiss he planted on her lips was gentle as well. Victor moved them so that she was more on top of him, and he stroked her hair soothingly. “I love you too love an’ tha’s never going t’ change.”

Summer stroked her fingertips down his face, feeling suddenly much warmer and decidedly happy. “You’re so wonderful. How did I ever deserve you? How did you ever come to fall in love with me?” Her voice was still low, introspective, and she lowered her head to kiss the corner of his mouth lightly.

He held her close to him and let out a sigh of contentment. “How could I not fall in love with you? You’re honest, intelligent, sexy an’ th’ most caring person I know.” Victor nuzzled her neck and smiled against her skin before mouthing her neck teasingly. “I don’ think it’s about who deserves what, I think it’s about us bein’ happy yeah?”

Summer laughed a little. “You, sir, are /very/ biased. Now, if I’m going to belong to you, it had better be worth my while. What can you offer me, Victor darling, that I don’t have already with this mark?”

“Well, for starters, I can offer you more marks.” He laughed and made another one. “I’d give you all of me an’ I mean that.” His tone and face was serious but there was a smile tugging at his lips.

“Stop that,” she scolded. “No more of that until you tell me what it means, because I get the feeling there’s more to this than your mouth against my skin.”
