There are people who died, and people who are injured and this is happening RIGHT NOW. They may, but at least they wait before doing so. They wait until the dust has settled on something as traumatic as this. Many people are offended, and so, it is offensive and the respectful thing to do is hold off on RPing it if you /really/ have to. Your character is not there helping, and neither is anyone else’s. If you want to RP it, do it somewhere not where others can see it if you need to get it out.

“Why do you get to decide what is respectful?”…….. Dude….. are you serious? Being respectful is for the sake of OTHER PEOPLE. It’s not based on YOUR OPINION. Being respectful is being truly considerate and empathetic of OTHER PEOPLE and it’s about HOLDING BACK and truly being there for them. If you’re offending someone by doing something you ‘think’ is respectful then you really need to step back and re-examine what you’re doing.
