The National Theatre, out of London, they do broadcasts of the plays there. I got tickets to the double Frankenstein production, the one with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, and that was lovely. They don’t do any silly moving of the camera; it’s a straight camera at the stage thing, only broadcast to a movie theatre. They’ve just started broadcasting Macbeth, and are going to do Coriolanus, but Nashville isn’t listed in the venues anymore. The closest is usually Memphis, and I am not THAT obsessed.
