“Anybody like me? Oh, you mean psychopathic vampire who doesn’t give a damn about human life?” he asked, smirking. “Well the good news is that you don’t have to love me.”
“Much good it’d do you if I was, since you’re /dying/,” Summer said pointedly. She clamped a hand around his ankle again. “I find it hard to believe, since you were so worried about my safety, that you weren’t prepared for this possibility.”
“Of course I was prepared for this possibility. The funeral arrangements are all over there,” he said, pointing to a cabinet. “You’ll see the flower arrangements I want,” he said, giving a sarcastic smile.
She shook his leg. “Don’t be snarky. I wouldn’t be handling that and you know it. The only thing I need, since you’re so determined to die, is contact information for your brother, and for you to know that when you die I’m cremating your body. Just to be sure you’re dead.” She gave him a dark smile.
