“Yes, please.” She had to find something that would tell her what the black dust she kept finding on her windowsill was. It was so clearly deliberate — someone who knew what she was, she suspected. But what the hell was it? Purposefully, she turned big, hopeful green eyes on the curly-headed student. “Please? I’ll owe you. Anything you like.”
“Fine. But I really don’t need anything.” Whatever this girl was up to, it seemed suspicious and he really didn’t need any trouble right now.
