The Norwegian Forest Cat is known by few outside of northern Europe. It’s a furry breed of domestic cat bred for colder climates. Photographer  and her fluffy cat Mille reside in Norway where together they produce some stunning portfolios.

Every time I see one of these posts I feel compelled to add that they’re also called Fairy Cats and have deep seated roots in Norse mythology. They were also companions on Viking ships :3.

reblogging because I DID NOT KNOW about ‘Fairy Cats’ or that they went on Viking ships. and hi-im-cambra needs to know these things if she does not, for the kitty who raised her was a Weegie.
