Okay. I will be straight up and say that a lot of the Dom/Sub stuff I see played out on the dash (and in lots of fandoms I follow on Twitter) are frankly, just abusive and it makes me angry. A good dom attends to the needs of their sub. I’ve seen “doms” screaming at their subs about not doing something or doing something wrong when they haven’t even explained the rules or laid out any kind of safe system. Common sense.
