She pulls all the pillows off her bed to make a divan for them, flashing him a smile. “Of course we didn’t watch it then! It’s … kinda girly. Well, I mean, it’s about girls, but it’s — ” She stumbles to a halt, rolling her eyes and laughing at herself. Starting the episode, she pokes him in the side. “You know I hate it when you pretend.”
Their friendship is close, Stiles notes, because he definitely wouldn’t do this type of thing with just any girl. He snorts a little, shaking his head because he knows what she means. “I know what you’re saying, trust me. It was too girly for you back then, but it’s totally okay now,” he says in reply, laughing a little afterward. When his laughter fades, he looks at her in confusion, but not too much of it.
“When I pretend?”
Too girly for /him/, she meant, but whatever. She lifts her eyebrows at him slightly. “I’m not that closed down, I can still tell when you’re not as enthused as you’re trying to make me think.” She flops down on the pillows next to him, trying not to touch. After what happened earlier, she’s not sure what that would set off.
