Derek was just walking by when Summer’s body pressed into his, going back against the wall with a confused expression. He was surprised by the kiss, though he could smell her attraction to him sometimes, it’s not like there wasn’t some toward her either. He just didn’t expect that. Though it didn’t mean he didn’t enjoy it. He watched her walk a few steps before striding out and catching her wrist gently, pulling her back and spinning her, kissing her again.
Her eyes opened slowly when he pulled back, full of wonder and hope. She offered him a small, shy smile, then bit her lip. Lightly, she rested her free hand against his chest, then her head, relaxing against him.
Derek smiled when she relaxed against him, the hand from her wrist releasing it and going up to gently stroke her hair. “I’m glad you did that,” he said softly.
She pressed closer, ducking her face into his chest to hide the way her smile widened. Both arms slipped around his hips, and she rose on her toes, seeking another kiss.
