When he lets her go, she’s standing on the other side of the room, and it’s like waking up. Just like he said, she doesn’t remember a thing, from the moment his relaxation extended to her. She looks down at her hands, turning them over, as if there would be some change, and laughs a little. “Wow. What did you make me do?”
There’s confusion in her expression when he lets go of her mind, something that Stiles has grown used to after having his power for so long. Everyone was always dazed and confused at first, wondering just how they’d gotten to wherever they were at that given moment. He grins for just a moment when he notices her reaction, feeling a little pride.
“Just made you move around a little. Didn’t want your mom to walk in on anything too serious, eh?”
One eyebrow twitches, and she bites down on a smile. “Depends on your definition of serious, doesn’t it?” Summer comes back over to the bed, perching on the end. “That was cool, actually.” She blinks at him for a minute, thinking about it, trying to remember, but there’s just a blank space in her memory. She was here, and then she was there, and there’s nothing in between.
