Derek was just walking by when Summer’s body pressed into his, going back against the wall with a confused expression. He was surprised by the kiss, though he could smell her attraction to him sometimes, it’s not like there wasn’t some toward her either. He just didn’t expect that. Though it didn’t mean he didn’t enjoy it. He watched her walk a few steps before striding out and catching her wrist gently, pulling her back and spinning her, kissing her again.
She gave him a little smile that crinkled her nose, the sort of smile that might ordinarily be accompanied by a giggle. Then she brushed him with her mind again, encouraging, and tugged against his shoulder.
Derek felt the little brush again, it felt like a tug. Or wait, was that the tug, her hand on his shoulder. Wait… Was it both? “That’s your gift isn’t it?” he asked with a small smile, dipping in to kiss her again as he put the pieces together.
She nodded, smiling into the kiss, the faintest breath like a laugh escaping her. Both arms winding around his shoulders, she pulled him over on top of her.
