“Well I didn’t bring the flowers tonight for nothing. I was thinking like dinner and maybe catch a concert? Girls like that right?”
She couldn’t help the half-laugh that escaped her. “Do I need to change clothes, Pietro?” she asked gently, leaning over to kiss his cheek.
Pietro flinched a little when she leaned in, not sure why, maybe he was nervous or something. “If you want, I guess you could.”
“It might help if you told me where we were going. I might want to wear something nicer than jeans and a t-shirt.” The flinch was puzzling. Did he not want her to kiss him anymore?
