He nodded. “Well for one you can look out at the view,” he said as they reached water, his feet effortlessly moving on top of the water with small splashes. “And secondly I want you to have a good time.”
Obediently, suppressing the bitter chuckle that rose in her throat, she glanced around, though she suspected that something about Pietro’s power enabled him to see more clearly than she could, even protected in the circle of his arms. Most of what she saw was a blur of blues, marked with cloud or wavecap white.
It was still beautiful, and incredibly peaceful.
