“You what?” he asked as he spun around in the door frame to look at her, confused was just the start of what he was feeling right now.
She could feel the breeze as his pacing became a brief blur — and then he was making her look at him, kissing her, and involuntarily she put her hands up to steady herself. When he let her go, she gasped for breath. “What — what was that for?”
Petro shrugged, “I suck at words. I more let my actions speak for themselves. That and you wanted to know what I wanted from you, I thought I made it clear.”
She smiled at him sideways, wryly. “You want what you’ve always wanted, huh? Yeah, okay.” Reaching up, she hooked her arms around his neck and said, “Catch!” before jumping a little to wrap her legs around his hips.
She would be as good as her word. She’d never say it again.
