She leveled a flat glare at him. “Bullshit. Even a mundane could tell what’s on your mind today, and you’re no more mundane than I am. So tone it down or I’ll have you over my knee.”

Stiles swallowed hard, unsure if he should be fearful of the woman’s obvious rage, or if he should stand up for himself. He finally set on being firm, and standing up to the woman. She had been nice before, but it was clear to Stiles that in this moment she had other intentions. His fingers gripped the desk he was leaned against tightly, and then he stood up straight. “Oh.. That’s what you mean. Newsflash, but I’m a teenage boy in a studio with fantastic looking men and women alike. Sorry if I’m a little…distracted.”

“Then you aren’t much cut out to be a model, are you. We don’t need distractions like you around here.” She threw herself into the comfy loveseat she kept for creative catnaps and flicked her fingers at her desk chair. “Take the edge off. I’ll wait.”
