“You won’t stutter,” Summer assured him, trailing kisses along his cheek. She nosed into his hair, making happy noises. “Because you’re perfect and adorable and lovely and mine.”
He beamed brightly at the kisses and tightened his hold around her, eyes shining with amusement and love as he nodded. “Yours. And one day, I’ll be able to get a ring to prove that to you.”
“Don’t need a ring. Just you. Just need you.” She nudged his head up, nipping along his jaw and trying to suck a mark there. Of course it faded, but she tried anyway.
