Her return smile was brilliant, and she tugged him closer, kissing him back and then again, winding her arms around his neck. “When you propose to me you’ll have to do a better job,” she teased, cheeks pink.
“I hope you don’t mind stuttering,” he mumbled against her lips, looking a little worried at the thought of purchasing her ring, for both finding the right one, as well as the cost. Arching up into the kiss, he found his hands in her hair again and he shivered against her.
“You won’t stutter,” Summer assured him, trailing kisses along his cheek. She nosed into his hair, making happy noises. “Because you’re perfect and adorable and lovely and mine.”
