Cyn rolled his eyes a bit and pecked her on the lips, moving away almost immediately afterwards. “Your energy’s…” He trailed off and didn’t finish the thought, but didn’t look oh too fond.
“I thought you were supposed to be this amazing seducer and sexual being. That was pitiful.”
“Is this disappointment?” He asked, arching an eyebrow. “I’m 90% sure I don’t give a fuck, actually.”
She gave him a very, very flat gaze. “It’s called a shield. I don’t go about snooping into everyone’s emotions all the time, it would make me insane.”
Cyn hummed. “A shield’s only as good as your focus though.” He replied, arching an eyebrow.
“After this long, I think my focus is pretty good, and my shields too. I survived puberty with this gift. Is that a challenge, then?” Summer folded her arms, looking sceptical.
“Is this disappointment?” He asked, arching an eyebrow. “I’m 90% sure I don’t give a fuck, actually.”
“If I wanted to figure you out, boyo, I’d be done by now, and you’d not have noticed. I was just /looking/. I don’t wave my powers about like some flashy cheerleader. What the fuck are you, then?”
“Empathy doesn’t exactly turn off, kiddo.” He said, crossing his arms now. “I’m not going to tell you. If you can guess I’ll let you know you’re correct, but I’m not going to volunteer the information.”

“Is this disappointment?” He asked, arching an eyebrow. “I’m 90% sure I don’t give a fuck, actually.”
“I /do/ that. What, you don’t like being looked at? Gods forbid you should be looked at!”
“Usually I quite enjoy being looked at, but when an Empath shows up and tries to figure me out…”
“If I wanted to figure you out, boyo, I’d be done by now, and you’d not have noticed. I was just /looking/. I don’t wave my powers about like some flashy cheerleader. What the fuck are you, then?”
“Is this disappointment?” He asked, arching an eyebrow. “I’m 90% sure I don’t give a fuck, actually.”
“I’m not cute, I’m not even trying to be cute. Do you treat everyone you meet this way, or just the women?”
“Did you miss the part where I used it in a sarcastic, ironic and entirely demeaning way?” He said, rolling his eyes yet again. “And no. Just irritating people, regardless of sex.”
“Ouch. Now you’re just trying to be hurtful.” She sighed. “Okay, fine, get on with it. You can’t say anything I haven’t heard before anyway.”
