“I don’t believe you. You can’t pick me up unless I want you to.” Summer snatched at his finger and frowned. “I think I liked the approach you started with better.”
“You never believe me.” Isaac pretended to pout. “How about we jog there, you can run right or is that something girls don’t do?” he teased her.
“I can run. You’ll still beat me, but I can run.” Summer pulled her mini-backpack across both shoulders and started into a jog. “You’re still a skinny thing until I see different.”
“Of course I’ll still beat you, I play lacrosse.” Isaac smirked as he began to jog with her, jogging ahead of her just to tease.”Well if you wanna see so badly you’d have to stay for practice more often, just invite me to go swimming, or something that involves me shirtless.” Isaac winked in a joking way.
“There is the indoor pool a couple blocks away,” she mused. “Then again, I’m not carrying around swimwear.”
“Well we can always go skinny dipping,” Isaac joked and couldn’t help but grin.
“It’s a public pool, Isaac.” She tried to sound disapproving, instead of intrigued, and didn’t manage very well. “Now, if you know where there’s a private pool, I might be persuaded.”

“Don’t underestimate me. I am cheering you up, just in my own way. And no thank you…”
“Dude, football players can’t carry me, let alone a skinny thing like you. So you go right on being like that. Just don’t be surprised when I smack you.”
“Tch, like I said don’t underestimate me. Looks can be deceiving, I’m not such a ‘skinny thing’ under these clothes. Keep acting like this and no ice cream.” Isaac sneered and flicked her on the forehead.

“I — yeah. Yeah, okay, that sounds good. Let me just pack up my stuff … “
“Well, where would you like to go?”
“Ice cream. And the park.”
“You’re so childish. Do you wanna piggy back ride too?” Isaac mocked.
“You couldn’t carry me. I thought you were supposed to be cheering me up. Would you rather I said I wanted sex and alcohol? Is that adult enough for you?”

Isaac heard footsteps in the hallway. Being the idiot he was, he thought they were heading somewhere else. He kept his moans down making sure the person didn’t hear him as he played with himself. He closed his eyes and let out a moan, allowing himself to be caught off guard by Summer. He instantly looked over at her and blushed. He threw the covers over himself and looked away. Well… this was awkward.
“Oh, my god.” Summer choked and turned around. “Ms. McCall let me in … I just came to bring back your comics. I’ll just — I’ll just — ” She swallowed hard, ears burning. This was not fair! Why’d she have to see him like this, now? She wavered in the doorway, clutching the comics to her chest.
“Ever heard of knocking?” Isaac yelled in embarrassment. He moved his hand away from himself and pulled up his boxers, but he kept the covers on himself. “Jeez, why do you always catch me in bad times…” he mumbled. As he looked at the comics he pointed over to his desk. “Just put them on the desk,” he sighed.
“It wasn’t latched!” she shot back, stung. Embarrassed and annoyed, she didn’t make any effort to keep her gaze away from him — which turned out to be a stupid idea, because even with everything below his shoulders covered by a blanket she could not ignore that he was naked.
And hot.
She pinched her mouth together and put the comics on the desk. “I’m /so/ sorry,” she said sarcastically. “I’ll just leave you two alone now, shall I?”
