There was a long pause before he spoke, thinking over the words that the red headed woman just said. “That’s it. I’m leaving.” He turned away and began walking away from her. 

“You came to me,” she muttered, grumpily. She hadn’t even cheated any. Anyone could have seen those things. “Coward.”

“What sort of price could be exchanged? You people certainly have an odd way of doing things.”
         ”If you wanted to be dead I could have very well killed you where you stood.”
