“The Sailor Moon reboot is next month. Do you have any idea how excited I am for this? I’m SO excited.”
“Toooooo loooonnnnggggg. Need NAOW.”
“I like — like, there’s spicy, peppers and paprika and stuff, and then there’s spicy like rosemary and basil and things. I don’t really like the peppers. But, pizza! Where’s the best local pizza around here?”
“Summer, rosemary and basil are apparently herbs, not actually spices. But, spices and herbs do mix together usually,” Luna told the girl shyly, and rubbed the back of her neck. She, then, smiled lightly and pointed in the direction of the pizzeria. “That way.”
“That’s semantics!” Summer objected. “Many herbs are referred to as spices because of the origination of the word ‘spice’; it originally meant anything exotic and hard to get. That’s the kind of thing that’s meant when medieval literature talks about highly spiced meats — they hadn’t even discovered peppers then in Europe!” She started off in the direction of the pizzeria, glancing back to make sure Luna was still there.
“Yeah, I have a cast-iron stomach, but not a cast-iron mouth. I do not like spicy foods. Which is a shame because there’s some really good food out there but if I can’t taste anything but the spices it’s no good.”
“Yeah, I try to be reasonable though with my spices. I like spicy from time to time but not always. A little hint of spice, though, is always good.”

“Pizza is good. I can almost always go for pizza … I don’t know which non-chain ones are good around here.” Summer grinned at Luna’s thoughtful expression. “You know, it’s easier for me to say what I don’t like than what I do.”
“Pizza is really delicious. I know a good place that has really good pizza. Danny usually takes me there when he has late practice,” Luna mused to Summer then giggled softly. As she laughed, she covered her mouth, “I try to keep my mind open sometimes with foods but sometimes certain foods I will not dare to eat.”

“Yeah! Where should we go? I don’t even know what kind of food you like best.”
Luna hummed in thought tapping her index finger against her lips. A smile appeared on her face before she answered the other, “We could go get pizza or something? Oh, I’m not too picky, I like East Asian foods, the most, Polynesian, and Italian. But, I eat any type of foods.”

SYCAMORE:CuriosityLuna smiled warmly at the other girl, “What are you curious about, Summer?”
“Oh, I just — there’s a lot of things I don’t know about you, that’s all. Just, we could be closer?” Summer shrugged uncomfortably.
Luna nodded her head, “I understand. I would like to get to know you too. Would you like to grab maybe something to eat and we can chat?”
“Yeah! Where should we go? I don’t even know what kind of food you like best.”

“What /is/ tapioca anyway?”
“Small white grains from the cassava plant. Usually mixed with sugar, and milk or a cream to make it as a dessert. You’ve probably seen it in a pudding form.”
“Heard of it, yeah. I don’t know — I mean, do the juice based ones — I don’t really like tea. It’s — I can really taste the bitter.”
“But there’s /beads/ in it.”
“Its tapioca, but not everyone drinks that. There’s always juice based bubble teas without the ‘beads’.”
