“Oh, nono, I’m not — ” He kissed her hand and she coloured. “I’m not a lady,” she finished. “But, um, well met, anyway, Fandral the Dashing. It makes you sound like a pirate, that byname. Are you an Asgardian pirate?” She can’t help the slight teasing, putting mischief between herself and the way her heart fluttered when he kissed her hand.
“You’re not a lady? You appear to be a woman. Am I somehow mistaken?” Then Fandral laughed warmly at he question and he shook his head. “Nay, I am not a pirate. I am a warrior. Along with Volstagg the Valiant and Hogun the Grim,” he laughed.

As soon as she said her last part, Fandral’s smile was quick and full of mischief. “Ah, but my lady, I’ve never been sensible,” he replied immediately. Then he bowed. “But I thank you for the information.”
