”I thought — aaah — I th-thought this was supposed,” she had to stop and just keen for a long moment, rocking hips into his hand, “to be what you wanted. God, Victor.” She tried to push up on her elbows to watch him, but failed utterly, pleasure arcing her back, hands splaying to sink into the coverlets. “Please …” she hissed, hardly even aware of what she was saying.

Victor laughed, “Or perhaps you’re forgetting that I have much better eyesight that most other people.” He leaned to the side and unbuttoned her jeans with one hand. His fingers brushed just below the waistband of her now undone pants, teasing. “Would you like some more of that?” he asked, as he delicately trailed over her skin.
”I don’t forget that,” she managed. “I just … mmm … can’t agree with your sentiment. You are such a tease.” She sucked in a sharp breath at the twist of desire in her veins, moaning his name.

The last of the tension seeped out of Summer under Victor’s hands, replaced with dreamy lassitude. Before long every motion of his fingers triggered a low moan and a slow grinding of her hips. The fine hairs on her skin stood up in his wake, drawing shudders from the muscles underneath.
She emitted a growly, purry kind of moan, arching up into his hands. “You must be looking with something other than eyes, or different standards than most people, Victor darling. Mmh.” Full body shudders were starting to wrack her now, and she really wanted his hands lower.

“Yes Victor,” Summer said meekly. She rolled over and off her hair, yanking the teal cotton over her head and dropping it unceremoniously to the floor. She hadn’t bothered with a bra that morning, and rolled back over to snuggle against Victor. “Do I meet your approval now?” she asked coyly.

“I’m sure a clever boy such as yourself can come up with some way,” she purred, pulling him down the hallway. Sleepy-eyed cats flicked ears at the pair as they entered the room, then abandoned the bed and its plush coverlet entirely with a series of thumps.
“Clever man my sweet,” he murmured as he placed her on the bed and followed her. “I do believe I’ve earned the right to be called man seeing as I’ve already proved that to you love,” he finished with a wink and a hungry kiss to her neck.
“Touchy, touchy, Victor darling,” Summer sniggered. She reached up and yanked, clever fingers looking for a ticklish spot.
Victor was surprised by her action and actually fell to the side laughter spilling from his lips. “You little minx!” He roared then went at her in return, his spry fingers tickling her sides and tummy.
After a while he leaned over her, smiling warmly down at her before he led his hand underneath her shirt and bent down to kiss her.
Instantly she subsided, giggles and shrieks subsumed into a contented hum. A little squirming had her cuddled up against his long body, her legs draped over his bent knees, hands limp and loose at her sides.
Victor moved back and tugged his shirt off then moved back to her so that he could put his attention towards her clavicle. He nipped and nibbled, his hands quickly moving underneath and up her shirt. His fingers alternated between ghosting over her skin and pulling her closer to him, his goal to make her gasp and moan. He wanted to hear those sweet sounds.

Her chuckle answered his. “Define ‘carried away,’” she murmured, looking up at him through her eyelashes. “Because I’m suddenly feeling a need to reaffirm life.” Slowly, Summer untwined herself from Victor, holding out a hand. “Come.”
Victor’s eyebrows shot up and his eyes darkened. He took her hand, kissing her. “And in what way would we be reaffirming life?”

Victor chuckled a bit. “Yeah, there are times when I want as well, but now isn’t one of those times, love.” There was a mischievous light in his eyes and then for the first time Summer saw Victor’s eyes actually go through the process of changing colour. They were previously honey gold and were now blending into a sapphire blue with emerald green specks. It was something no one had ever seen, if anything they just saw the before and after. He leaned in and cupped her jaw then kissed her sweetly yet hungrily on her lips.
Summer melted under Victor’s mouth, swaying forward to align their bodies. She watched his eyes change, and closed her own, choosing to simply — give up thought. Desire, stoked by his kiss, curled her hands deeper into his hair, and she hummed, deepening the kiss.
He let out a small groan and dipped his tongue into her mouth. He broke away from the kiss. “Summer, I’d hate for us to get carried away.” He chuckled, joking, teasing her.

“Well, of course.” Her tone was matter-of-fact. “Trust me when I say I’ve been there. But the liquor isn’t going to make you forget the way you want to — you’re the only person who can do that. And all I can do is take the edge off.” She pursed her lips, looking at him. “I’m going to find your kitchen, and you are going to finish up here, and go to bed. I’ll be right behind you.”
Victor nodded, “kitchen’s downstairs, hang a left, it’s an open layout down there so it shouldn’t be too hard to find. I’ll only be a few more minutes up here. Bedroom’s just down this hall.” His voice was quiet then he gingerly poured water over his head. “I’m sorry but if you wouldn’t mind bringing a little snack up with you when you come back to the room?”
“That’s the idea. You’ll want it when I release the painblock.” Summer rose to her feet, hair tumbling around her shoulders. She stooped again to kiss him on the forehead before striding out of the room. She was a bit bemused by the size of the house, actually; or more correctly, the ordinariness of it. But then, she supposed, he’d almost certainly simply bought whatever caught his eye, without thinking — well, alright, the things Victor might want out of a home weren’t the same as what she wanted. And she’d less than no business thinking right now of what they might want together.
A quick rummage among various cabinets and in the fridge yielded crackers, peanut butter, and a pitcher, which she filled with water. Anything else he might want, she’d come back down and get. She headed back up to the bedroom.
Victor scrubbed his hands over his face and finished cleaning himself up then carefully got up and out of the tub. He dried himself off then wrapped the towel around his waist and headed to his room. He hadn’t owned this house for very long and hadn’t had much time to decorate it to his tastes but the bedroom, that he’d had time to make his own. The bed was all red and silver with a thick duvet detailed with silver thread in an almost medieval pattern. He enjoyed old things, a kind of mix of old and new. The TV was a bit of a monstrosity but that was the only visible expensive electronic in the room. Victor padded to the walk in closet pulling open the double doors and pulling a pair of flannel pajama bottoms out of one of the drawers. Once he was done getting dressed he walked over to his bed then crawled in, his hand brushing over the slender scimitar hanging on the wall as he passed. He sat up a little in bed and waited for Summer.
Summer paused in the bedroom door, eyes flicking about to quickly take in the room. She deposited the pitcher and glass on the bedside table, hitching herself up to sit on the edge of the bed. Not meeting Victor’s eyes for a long moment, she contemplated the pitcher, before shaking herself and filling the glass with water. “Here.” In the same motion of handing, she released the painblock, watching Victor’s face carefully.

Victor smiled, nuzzling her neck. “I aim to please darling.” The smirk on his lips was audible. He moved them so that she was sitting up a bit more before he began nipping and licking at her collar bone.
“Hmm, so far you’ve done everything I’ve asked. Bit dangerous, that.” Summer’s voice was a little breathless. “Do you never want anything for yourself?” The terrible tension of grief began to ease under Victor’s ministrations, and she breathed out, forcing muscles to ease.
Victor chuckled a bit. “Yeah, there are times when I want as well, but now isn’t one of those times, love.” There was a mischievous light in his eyes and then for the first time Summer saw Victor’s eyes actually go through the process of changing colour.
