He tilts his head at her in amusement. A smirk donning his features. “So you’re the one Starks mentioned about.” ((I’m just gonna have Loki be a shit and ruin you and gadgets lives xD Also. Hai.))

Summer looks up from her book and freezes. “You … aren’t Flyte.” To that self-evident remark, eyebrows high on her face, she adds, “Who are you?”

She shudders, involuntarily leaning away from that smile. It shouldn’t be frightening; it’s the innocent, playful smile of a child. But she knows entirely too much of what is behind it.

“We stopped you once. We can do it again.” It’s all she can say in the face of this smiling danger.

A triumphant smirk is formed when Summer leans away.

“That was once. And the thing is I can fail as many times as i need to finally have my plans come together. If you all fail once in stopping me… You’re doomed,” He hisses in sick pleasure.

“There’s one of you, and many of us,” she points out. “You have to know of and understand all of us to win. We only have to understand you. Just you. And we’ve your brother to help with that, I think. You’ll never win, Loki. Never.”

How in the world has she fallen into the dramatic face-off scene? This is life, it’s not a book or a movie. She shakes her head slightly.

“Jarvis told me.” Actually, nobody had told her; she’d noticed him getting irritated, then him leaving, and figured out the rest herself. But Raven didn’t need to know that. She sits forward, elbows on knees, and regards him a little more seriously. Maybe — just maybe, nobody ever bothered to explain it to him.

Yeah, right.

But it’s worth a try, she supposes. “Have you looked at our history? Even just the recent history, the last hundred years or so. The harder people try to impose their will on others, the more those others fight back. You don’t even have to look back more than a few /months/ to see it — and you, proclaiming yourself as a god, would stir that backlash even faster. Sure, maybe humanity does crave to be ruled. But what each individual craves to be ruled by is different, and they — we — will fight each other to the death over those differences, no matter how minute they might be.”

She can see it so terribly clearly in her own mind, even without her empathy. She’s just not sure she can shape it in words that will carry that sense to anyone else, far less someone whose whole culture is so wildly different.

He gave her a disbelieving look but just went with her. Either way, Stark most likely made it known as he left. Clicking his tongue he leaned against the wall. Not wishing to sit near her.

Rolling his eyes at her he sighed.”You make it sound as if I haven’t read up your history since the last time I was here and have realised were there were flaws in my plan and how sheer force is not the way. And as I have said I have learnt and am just biding my time now. I’ve noticed how much backlash will be obtained when one claims to be a God. Mainly due to the various types of Gods you mortals worship and fight over whos ways and beliefs are right. That’s why I will bide my time before I strike in my plan to rule Midgard. It won’t be in your lifetime I can assure that but then again. It might.”

A smile is made all so innocently. One that shouldn’t even be upon his features as it makes him look less menacing that he really is.

She shudders, involuntarily leaning away from that smile. It shouldn’t be frightening; it’s the innocent, playful smile of a child. But she knows entirely too much of what is behind it.

At this point Summer just kind of gapes at him. “No wonder Tony walked away from you. You really are a bag of cats. Mad cats. With fleas.” She has to laugh because otherwise she might cry, or scream, or — she doesn’t even know what; he’s an unsolvable rubik’s cube. “You would never have been able to rule humanity.”

“Ah, he did tell you about that then. One should count it as an achievement if they manage to get him to leave his tower.” He rolls his eyes at that reference. “I’m still being refere-… I don’t actually blame them for using that.” The girl seems to switch from one mood to another, cleverly hiding what she would rather do behind false actions from what he sees.”What makes you say that? Humanity craves to be ruled, in the end everyone kneels. Besides, if I must I can wait. I have the time.”

“Shouldn’t you be at least a little concerned about facing yourself? You said you could kill us all. I’m just saying it might not be that easy.” Summer’s starting to be a little concerned. There is a lot of hubris in this one, this Raven, and a lot of anger. “If it’s all the same, though, I’d rather not fight; it makes such a mess and Helios worries so.”

“I should, but I’m not because even though he’s me, he technically isn’t me.” Shaking his head, he begins to pace and gesture with his hands. “Nothing is ever easy. If it was then Midgard would be under my rule. Though then again we do wish everything was easy so our lives could be simpler.” Raven scoffs at her with a roll of his eyes. “If I wanted to fight I already would have caused mayhem. Besides. I made a promise that I’d keep destruction to an absolute minimum for an undisclosed amount of time.”

“There is another Loki living here,” she points out. “I don’t think you’ll find it that easy. Tony bested you pretty well the last time, too, as I recall. I,” she pauses briefly, “was too busy fishing people out of the mess you made. How did the punishment for all that go, anyway?”

“You make it sound as if I care that a twin is living here.” He rolls his eyes at her. “Maybe so but that was then and this is now. For both of us time has changed differently and I realise the mistakes I made and will know how to counter them. Better than it should have been. I’m free and it’s only a matter of time before it’s noticed that I’m no longer sitting in the cell and that the me that is there is nothing but an illusion.”

“I’m not sure it’s a good idea for you to like me. I think your twin might be a little possessive,” she shoots back. “Anyway you only say that because right now I amuse you, I’m not afraid of you. You like that.”

“That doesn’t surprise me at all.” He replied smoothly. “Hmm. I suppose I do. It means that things are more interesting. Also less predictable as to what the outcomes in the will be.”

“Aww, poor baby, are you bored?” Summer says mockingly. “Can’t destroy the world, so you don’t know what to do with yourself?”

“Aww, want to provoke the being who can destroy everyone you love in a single breath?” He smiles so sweetly at her that looks so menacing at the same time.

“I did figure that out when she moved out,” Summer says wryly. “Is that what happened? I wondered. So. Have you come to try the same with me?” She puts the book aside, sitting up to clasp her hands with elbows on knees.

“Yes. It probably was obvious.” Not mentioning the fact that she left without any word or why but he’s not going to mention that. A small snicker is heard. “It was an entertaining and amusing day. I never planned to but I can attempt to now since you were so kind to question me.”

“You can have fun trying.” Summer smiles, giving him almost as many teeth as he showed her. “I have to give a damn about you before you can annoy me that much.” She tips her head to the side. “What did Tony say about me?”

“I might just try it now.” He laughs lightly at her. “Ohh, I think I’m going to like you,” he purrs playfully. “Nothing much. Mentioned you in passing here and there. I got curious to who he was talking about.”

He hums at her with a small nod. “You are correct with that now. As for who I am,” He grins at her, showing all his teeth as he does, “you may have heard of him refer me as Jotun in the past or Raven more recently.”

“I don’t think — oh! You’re Aleyna’s Loki. The one he wants to light up like a Christmas tree. Huh.” Summer studies him. More feral-looking than Flyte. The hair seems shorter, more ill-kempt. And there’s no possible way to mistake them from the inside. “Raven.”

His smile falters a little but he composes himself quickly. “Yes. The very same one who managed to annoy him that much he left his own tower.” Raven gestured to himself as he watched the fire haired girl. “Though I can say we are no longer together.”

“I did figure that out when she moved out,” Summer says wryly. “Is that what happened? I wondered. So. Have you come to try the same with me?” She puts the book aside, sitting up to clasp her hands with elbows on knees.
