She laughed. “Not what you’re thinking, apparently! But if we’ve so very much time, perhaps I should be thinking what you’re thinking.”
Victor ducked his head shyly. “I’m sorry, what were you thinking? Besides, wouldn’t you want to wait till later tonight….darling?” He smiled and let his accent come through more thickly.
Summer shivered slightly. “I was wondering how much time I had to play with my hair, that’s all.”
“Are you asking him, or me? He loves his showers,” Summer commented. “And the drying.” She picked up the dress and pulled it on over her head. “Zip me?”
He chuckled then sat up and went over to her to help her with her dress. “Both of you I suppose and of course baby.” Victor zipped up her dress and hummed in approval. “Evidently clothing isn’t helping my arousal.” He laughed then kissed her neck. “Coincidentally, I have something that will go nicely with your dress.” Then he took a box out of his pocket and opened it, revealing a ruby and diamond studded necklace.
“There,” Victor said as he stepped back, smiling, “It looks fantastic on you.”
Summer put a hand to her throat, the thin chain warming quickly to her skin. Peering in the mirror, she brushed a fingertip over the pendant, smiling softly. “It’s beautiful, Victor.” She caught his gaze in the silvered glass, pressing her love to his heart, before spinning around and pressing her lips to his.
Victor felt a rush of emotion then her lips were on his and he kissed her back. He smiled against her lips, “It looks beautiful when it’s on you dear.” His arms wrapped around her lower back. “I really hope you enjoy tonight Summer.”
“How long will it take to get where we’re going?” She reached up, pulling the clips out of her hair and letting it cascade down her back.
A smirk crossed his lips, “Well, you took a wonderfully quick shower so we don’t have to leave for another hour.” Victor licked his lips. “Why? What were you thinking?”
She laughed. “Not what you’re thinking, apparently! But if we’ve so very much time, perhaps I should be thinking what you’re thinking.”

She held out Helios, upsidedown and licking a paw, wrapped in a towel, to him. “Can you finish drying this furry stinker?” The other towel still hung, innocently dry, by the bathtub. Water dripped down her shoulders.
“Sure love no prob-” Victor stopped short as he took her in, the water droplets sliding down her perfect skin caused his eyes to dilate a bit. He swallowed, “Dear, these tickets…are expensive…and I’d like for us to get there because I think you’ll enjoy it but I’m afraid we won’t make it if you make use of the towel Summer.”
She looked up at the tone of his voice, and lifted her eyebrows. “If I do make use of it, or if I don’t?”
Victor shook his head as if snapping out of a trance. “See, I can’t speak correctly with you standing there looking sexy like that dear.” He gave her a sheepish smile. “I meant if you don’t make use of your towel Summer.”
As he dried Helios’ fur he petted him, trying to make him purr.
Biting back a smile, she jerked the towel off the rack and wrapped it around herself. She’d tease him about it later. While she dried off and went back out into the bedroom to put on underthings, Helios studied Victor with grave blue eyes before deigning to purr like a motorcycle.
“Hey! You hear that? He’s purring!” Victor exclaimed excitedly. Then he very obviously looked her up and down, smirking. Once he finished drying Helios he stroked his fur one more time then put him down. “Did you enjoy your shower?” he asked as he went and laid down on his back on her bed while she got dressed.

Victor leaned and peered after the cat, with an eyebrow raised. “Love? Did your cat just come to take a shower with you?”
Summer paused in the act of pulling open the shower curtain partway, looking over her shoulder at Victor. As if in answer to his question, Helios jumped into the bathtub, bending his head to lick at the escaping puddles of water. Shower spray misted his fur, and his tail waved back and forth above the edge. “He’s got his own towel.”
Victor watched as Helios jumped into the tub in disbelief. “I-I never thought I’d see the day when a cat would willingly go near water.” He chuckled, and smiled while he shook his head. “Enjoy your shower love, I’ll be out here waiting.”
“It’s all the fluff,” she said, delicately stepping around the happily-lapping kitty and into the water. “Close the bedroom door so he doesn’t drip all over the house.”
She didn’t need to spend long in the shower, and shut the water off about ten minutes later. Helios had already gotten out, and sat on the counter attending to his toes and tail, shimmering with water droplets. “Victor, darling? Can you come help me?”
At her request he quickly got up and closed the door then sat back down on her bed and waited. He heard the water turn off and her calling for him so he got up and peered inside of the bathroom. “Yes Summer?” He asked as just his gold coloured eyes and a tuft of his jet black hair were visible to Summer.
She held out Helios, upsidedown and licking a paw, wrapped in a towel, to him. “Can you finish drying this furry stinker?” The other towel still hung, innocently dry, by the bathtub. Water dripped down her shoulders.
Summer left him to it, picking up her brush and stepping into the bathroom. Five minutes had her hair brushed out straight and wound into a bun, and then she peeked out to check on Victor. “Find anything, darling?”
He looked over his shoulder to her and smiled. “Well, I found this red dress with gold embroidery that I really like, it’s a little short if you don’t mind. Otherwise I found a black one that has these stunning silver designs running across it. Personally, I’m favoring the red one.” Victor held out the red dress, for Summer’s inspection. It was a little short, a bit above the knee in length and a light, almost satiny material and the colour complimented Victor’s shirt perfectly.
“I think I still fit into that,” she mused. “You better keep me warm, Victor darling, if I wear it.” Flashing him a bright, teasing smile, she ducked back into the bathroom and turned on the shower. “Helios! Shower time!” she called, above the rush of water. Galloping like dogs were after him, the big, fluffy cat rounded the dresser and charged into the bathroom, plumy tail waving.
Victor leaned and peered after the cat, with an eyebrow raised. “Love? Did your cat just come to take a shower with you?”
