Vex let out a choked sound, not sure how to really respond to Summer’s words. They weren’t close, barely knew each other, and who in their right bloody mind would trust somebody in that regard when they’d only just met? Snickering slightly, he purred the words, “Never woulda expected to ‘ear that from a pretty thing like you.”
The sudden grip on her hair threw her right out of the sensual space, with a shock. “Not a leash! Not a leash,” she exclaimed, hastily grabbing the ponytail above his hand to ease the strain a little. “Hard line!” She couldn’t help, obviously, stumbling behind him on their way to the bedoom.
Vex had already ended up lost to his own sadistic thoughts, and so the words the girl was saying barely registered to his mind. They were soon at the bedroom, and he was letting go of her hair and pushing her down onto the bed with a wicked gleam in his eyes. “There aren’t any ‘ard lines ‘ere, Lovie.”
Summer sat straight up, locking her eyes on his. “No. No. That’s not okay.” She grabbed at his chin, firmly. “I’m not doing this with you if I have to force you to respect my few lines. I said I trusted you.”

Snickering slightly, he purred the words, “Never woulda expected to ‘ear that from a pretty thing like you.”
Vex smiled darkly against the Empath’s throat, switching it around so that he was holding her wrists in only one of his hands, the other arm curling around her to support her weight as she started to slack in his arms. He could tell that she was slipping, that she was starting to enjoy it more than she could resist it. Chuckling harshly as he pulled his mouth away from her for the moment, he asked, “Oh what? Losing your resolve already, Cupcake?” Before she could argue, he placed another harsh bite into her flesh, this time against the crook of her shoulder.
That one wasn’t so strong, through the fabric of her shirt, and though his fingers were long, he wasn’t enough bigger than she was to hold both her wrists for long. She twisted one wrist free, laying that hand against the back of his neck. Her breathing was still hard, rasping slightly in her throat. “You can’t possibly make me lose my resolve.” Challenge on challenge. “Especially not just by biting me.”
The Mesmer growled lightly against the woman’s shoulder as he felt her twist one of her wrists free, placing a hand on the back of his neck. He pulled back slightly, looking at her with an expectant gaze. “Oh, don’t you worry, m’dear, there’ll be much more than that,” he told her with a sharp tone, using the fact that one of his hands was free to bring it up to Summer’s hair, giving it a rough tug before forcibly leading her, by the hair, towards the nearby bedroom.

Vex ran his tongue over his own lips as he looked at the girl’s face. The sight of faint bruising across her mouth gave him a dark burst of pleasure, having already marked her as his– if only for this one night, these matter of hours. The challenge stirred against his mood, making him almost seem to growl as he spoke, “I’ll bet I can, m’dear.” At her next words, he glared and told her, “Not ‘ardly.” Bringing his mouth to hers again, he kissed her forcibly, though only briefly, before bringing his mouth to her throat. Nipping at the skin momentarily, he then bit down with a sadistic grin forming on his lips.
When his teeth sank into her throat, her knees went watery. Her breathing had already sped up under the influence of his dark desire, and Summer closed her eyes and sagged briefly in his hold. The pain was sharp, driving adrenaline through her veins, and she thrilled to it, even as she resisted falling under its spell. “Vex,” she squeaked out.

Vex smirked against Summer’s lips as he continued the rough pattern of kisses, not wanting her to breathe, not wanting her to think, just wanting to have every bit of her attention. He wanted her to be afraid of him, wanted to make her give in and wipe that cocky look in her eyes away. He could sense the struggle against his hands, which only made him hold her wrists tighter. Finally, he pulled back from the kisses momentarily to speak, “Tryin’ to get a’ay, Crumpet?”
She panted, “Yes,” twisting at his grip again. The sense of his will, of his need to break her, brought a twisted smile to her mouth, faintly bruised by his kisses. “You can’t tame me,” Summer dared, “come on, Vex.” She laughed, a little crazily. “You /still/ think I’m sweet and innocent and unspoiled.”

‘No I’m not,’ she thought, but the words never made it out of her mouth, because Vex was kissing her painfully hard, taking and taking and giving no quarter whatsoever. She refused to give in right away; she wanted him to force her, to take while she resisted. Accordingly, she twisted her wrists, looking for the weak points to break free.

The Mesmer met her eyes and found himself unable to hold back a less-than-sane laugh at her words. The challenge was all it took to rev up the last bit of his impatient-personality; stepping forward a step, he closed the distance between them and found himself grabbing her by the collar of her shirt, glaring down into her eyes. His own seemed to burn with an odd kind of dominance that Vex usually didn’t feel. “Don’t test me, Summer,” he warned.
She shivered under his hand. Choking wasn’t normally her thing, but apparently there was going to be an exception in Vex’s case. “I want to test you,” she said, voice going a bit breathy, “I want to push you until you push back, until you force me into my place.”
Vex smirked at the woman, feeling a dark stir of pleasure from the breathy tone of her voice as she looked up at him. He could tell by the emotion in her eyes that she wasn’t used to the choking aspect, but it was a part of the Mesmer’s methods, and so he didn’t care. Pushing her to the nearest wall and releasing her collar, he grabbed her hands and held them in place. “You are going to regret that little decision, m’dear,” he told her with a sadistic chuckle, crushing his lips harshly to hers.

Summer stepped right into his body, until bare millimeters separated them. “Sugar is sweet, but spice is more exciting.” She veiled her eyes. “I’m not sure you can handle me, actually. I might be too much for you — you think I’m so very innocent. Don’t you want to find out?”

His sheer shock made her laugh. “Empath, remember?” she murmured in respond. “I already know exactly how far I can trust you.” She put her hands on her hips. “What does my appearance have to do with what I might like, Vex? Hmmm?”
The Mesmer gave a nod at her reminder, having let the bit of information slip his mind until just then. “A ‘andy trick, ain’t it?” he commented, fighting the urge to show off his own abilities – at least for now. Cocking his head to the side, he replied to her words in a silky purr, “I s’ppose ya’ve gotta point there, Lovie, but do ya really know what’cha’re gettin’ yourself into ‘ere?” He waited for her reply in a darkly patient way, thoughts already creating plans depending on her response.

“It’s not polite to smoke in a stranger’s house, either,” she shot back, eyes flashing. “It’s not magic, anyway.” Summer held up a hand, fingers spread and palm up, and a flame curled up from the center of it. “/That’s/ magic.” She closed her fingers, and the fire vanished. “I’ll tell you what I am if you tell me why you could resist my empathy.”
Vex raised an eyebrow at her as he commented, “Maybe it wasn’t s’pposed to be polite, love.” He shook his head at the woman as he watched the fire appear above her palm; it was careless to use your abilities like that, so blatantly and without reservation, but he figured that he really couldn’t talk. He could be bad for doing such things himself, but he had yet to do it around Summer. “I’m a Mesmer,” he said simply, looking at her with level eyes. If she didn’t understand the term, then she had no business flashing her powers at him.
She blinked at him, puzzled. “A Mesmer. Dare I ask, or are you enjoying confusing /me/ now? And what does that have to do with your resistance?”
