Growing up the son of War Machine and Captain Marvel meant Robbie had a healthy respect for the air force, and an unfortunate obsession with flying. No one was really surprised. When he enrolled in MIT just like his dad and Uncle Tony— no one was surprised. Rhodey knew he’d love it, Carol liked to…check in on him. Often. Not that Robbie ever minded. His first year of university was going completely normal…until whatever powers he inherited from Carol started manifesting. He finds he can fly, and lift immensely heavy objects. Robbie tries to keep it secret, but when he hears his Dad and Uncle Tony are in danger? He goes flying after them. And, surprisingly, he saves them— much to Carol’s amusement and Rhodey’s astonishment.
