“Yes, Hamlet is Shakespeare. We’re reading Measure for Measure, though. ‘The miserable have no other medicine, but only hope,’” she quoted dejectedly, dropping her shoulder to let her bag slide to the floor. Immediately she put out her arms to hug into Tony’s chest. “I hate this.”

“That sounds super boring.” Tony chuckled as Summer hugged him. “You should have done something science related. Way cooler. There’s like explosions and stuff.”

“Men fighting with swords in the street? Women with sharp tongues and sharper minds? You’ve no taste. Shakespeare is exciting enough. Anyway math is hard.”

“Explosions and building cool shit. Science wins,” Tony teased.

“That wouldn’t save me from just-earning-my-mrs types,” Summer sighed. She plopped onto the couch and covered her face with her hands. “Besides, without people like me where would y’all get your ideas /from/?”

“I guess that’d be fun,” Tony said, with a smile, stroking her hair with his free hand as he used his other to raise his pizza to his mouth. “What kind of special days are we talking about?” He laughed. “You might make me actually start caring about holidays.”

“Exam days, Valentine’s Day, birthdays … you know, like that.” She made a pleased sigh, snuggling her face up against him and drowsing. “Love you,” she whispered.

“Ugh Valentine’s Day makes me want to die,” Tony grumbled, still playing with her hair. “But I guess if that’s what I gotta do to keep you around I’ll stick it out.” He chuckled.

“It’s a long ways off,” she mumbled. “You want to keep me around?” Heat was starting to slide down her nerves again, gathering in the pit of her stomach. Tony smelled good, and she flicked out her tongue to taste him. He tasted good too. Maybe they could take their time next time.

“Yeah. I guess I’ll keep you if you promise to not torment my freaking fish anymore.”  He chuckled lightly tussling her hair. “Did you just lick me?” He laughed. “You’re so weird.” Tony laughed, gently kissing her forehead.

“I just wanted to know what you tasted like.” Summer stretched her arms over her head luxuriously. “And you like me because I’m weird.” This time she kissed his stomach a couple times.

Her fingernails curved into his skin, eyelids fluttering. Something pulsed under her skin, throbbing in rhythm with his thrusts and her moans. “Tony, oh, Tony!” she panted, and then it was as if a firework went off in her skull, shattering sparks throughout her body. Her arms trembled, shivers shaking her limbs. She blinked her eyes open, slowly, and then her elbows quit and she collapsed on him.

It was easier, now, and weight and gravity pulled them closer together. It did hurt, sharp and shocking, but that was overwhelmed swiftly by the feeling of his hands on her back and the strange pleasure-pain of her body accommodating him. Summer leaned forward, bracing herself either side of his head, and just stared down into his dark eyes, panting a little. She rocked her hips, a little, lifting up and sliding back down, and her pupils blew wide and dark. “Oh, Tony,” she managed to groan.

“Of course I’m gunna brag about it,” Tony laughed, rolling his eyes. “But not to my friends. Just to you. You think I’m gunna let you forget this ever?” He chuckled, giving Summer a gentle kiss. “Good to know you still think I’m that much of an asshole though.”

She whacked him. A rush of feeling, complex and tangled, drove energy through her bones, and she sat up, climbed off his lap, and grabbed his hand. “Not on the couch. I want a bed, a proper bed, and more kisses.”

“Whatever you say, princess,” Tony said, rolling his eyes. He quickly led Summer to his room and threw himself on the bed. “Come on,” he grinned, holding his arms out to her. “We got all night but I hate waiting,” he laughed.

Slowly, she climbed onto the bed after him, sliding into his arms and lifting her face to his. A few kisses, slow and hot, emboldened her enough to push him over on his back. One leg swung over his hip, and then she was clutching his hands, eyes wide and a little frightened, and pressing down on his cock.

Tony opened his eyes and looked up to her, worried that he had done something to make her uncomfortable. “Summer? What’s wrong? Are you okay? What’d I do?”

“It’s not you. It’s not you.” She shook her head, eyes still closed. “I’m afraid of pain. I’m afraid this is going to turn out to be an awful joke, like Carrie. I’m afraid I’m making a fool of myself, loving you.”

“Who the fuck is Carrie?” Tony asked stupidly. “I have never in my life been with a girl named Carrie.” Tony was completely and utterly in the dark. “I don’t think I even know anyone named Carrie.”

“It’s a movie. And a book. A couple movies. I was thinking of the sequel one, where the boys play a game of screwing girls and bragging about it after.” Summer rested her head on his shoulder, one hand groping for his. “The closest I’ve ever come to sex was being fingered. I’m just … I don’t … “
