Tony pulled away from the kiss with a crooked smile. “You know Summer? I think you’re a pretty damn special lady,” he said softly as he ran his hands through her hair.
“Flatterer,” Summer whispered. Her eyes slid closed at the feel of his hands in her hair. “That’s /so/ nice.” Shyly, she sneaked her fingertips under the edge of his shirt, tracing idle patterns onto his skin.
“Summer, is this your not so subtle way of asking me to take my shirt off?” He grinned looking down at her. “If that’s what you wanted all you had to do was ask.”
“Hmm? ‘m just cuddling, Tony.” Her stomach growled. “Um.”
“Right.” Tony grinned. “Just cuddling.” He looked down at her and smiled hearing her stomach grumble. “Where the hell is that pizza guy?” he laughed, running his hand through her hair.
As if on cue, the doorbell finally rang. Reluctantly, Summer pulled away from Tony. “We’ll make him go away quick.” She reached out for his wrist, hesitated, and grabbed his arm. “Come on, pizza, movie, dim lights, cuddling.”

Tony grinned and wrapped his arms around Summer. “You know I do, Summer-sweetness.” He bent down to place a kiss on her forehead. His hands quickly found his way to her back. They kept traveling down her body until they were loosely wrapped around the small of her back.
Just for effect, Summer snapped her fingers, dropping the broadcast. “Bit less now, yes?” She looked up into his eyes, smiling, a little crooked. “Or would fear be more persuasive?”
“Only a bit less.” Tony grinned pulling her into a deep kiss, his hands still wrapped around her back. “A good portion of me still wants to stand here and make out with you for the next four hours.” He smirked.
“I like that idea,” she murmured. “So, it doesn’t bother you? What I can do?”
“Oh no I think you’re the devil and I’m terrified of you,” Tony teased, pulling her in closer. “But I kinda felt like that before so I guess I’ll keep you around.” He craned his neck down to place a kiss on her lips.
His kiss muffled the laughter, and she could tell he was joking. She let herself relax into the current knowledge of his heart, forbidding herself to worry about the future. She shivered against the strength of his arms, pressing against him, a soft moan escaping the kiss.

Tony grinned as he looked down at the candle. “Well damn Summer.” He looked to her. “I thought you said you weren’t hot.”
“Ow, pun,” she groaned. “Like I said, that’s not my real ability.” She hesitated for a long moment. “I’m an empath, Tony.”
It took Tony a moment to remember exactly what an empath was. “Really? You show me awesome fire power things and empath is your big finish?” He chuckled. “I mean both are awesome but seriously you should close with the fire thing next time.”
“That’s kind of all I can /do/ with the fire thing,” Summer pointed out. “It’s new. Like, really new. The empathy, though … ” She crossed the kitchen, hips swaying a little bit, eyelashes lowered, and laid a hand on Tony’s chest. “Do you want me, Tonybaby?” she purred, broadcasting lust at him.

“Why miss Summer-sweetness have you been keeping a secret?” Tony grinned. “Is it something awesome? Are you an assassin that was hired to kill me but now you’re totally in love with me? You don’t even know how long I’ve waited for that to happen.”
She dissolved into giggles again. “No, it’s not that kind of secret. I don’t know if you’ll think it’s awesome, either.” She sat up, glancing around. “Have you got a candle?”
“Why the hell would I have a candle?” Tony laughed. “I mean what the hell would I even do with a candle?” He slid Summer off his lap and stood up to walk over to the kitchen. “What self respecting dude just has a candle laying around?” He dug into a drawer. “There’s your damn candle,” he grinned, tossing a small tea light candle to her.
She caught it quickly, and set it on the counter. Both hands went behind her back. “Watch.”
The candle lit.
“That’s a new thing,” she noted. “It’s not my real ability.”

“Well as a normal guy I’d never turn anything down.” Tony laughed. “But I think for now I just kinda like this,” he said pulling her in closer. “I’m not completely obsessed with sex ya know.”
“No~o, of course not,” she teased. Summer cuddled in as close as she could, tucking her head under his chin, relishing the simple warmth that came of being held. “I like this too,” she whispered. She stroked her fingers through his hair, listening to his heartbeat, easy and relaxed.
“You’re warm.” Tony smiled, resting his head on top of her head. “Oh my god I get it now,” he said with wide eyes. “Your name is Summer because you’re warm.” He said it in a voice that made it sound like it had been obvious from day one.
“Oh my god, you crazy man,” Summer laughed. “I told you why my name is Summer. Do I have to introduce you to my twin for you to believe me?” She poked him in the side. ‘Was now the time to tell him?’ she wondered. She’d looked up Ironman; he might be able to keep her secret. “There is another thing related to that,” she said slowly.

“So uh…” Tony began. “You’re gunna have to tell me how far you wanna go with this.” He gave a nervous laugh. “I mean I’m not gunna lie, I’m kinda scared of you and I have no doubt that if I did something you didn’t like you wouldn’t hesitate to kick me in the balls,” he said, only half joking.
Summer leaned back, a little startled, to look at him. A flash of hurt showed in her face. “I don’t think I would do that right away!” She bit her lip, flushed from kisses, and avoided his eyes. “I’m, um, I’m a virgin, Tony,” she whispered, clearly a little embarrassed. “So … I guess … if it’s a problem, I’ll tell you to stop.”
Tony groaned, seeing the hurt look on Summer’s face. “I mean scared of you in a good way,” he tried. “I mean like I want to stay off your ‘to kill list’,” he explained. “That’s not helping is it?” He sighed. “Look. I just want you to be comfortable with what we do. I can wait for….” he gestured wildly with his hand. “Whatever.” He looked up to Summer and smiled. “Does that make me seem any less of an asshole?”
The embarrassment broke with a sheepish laugh. “I’m not a nice person, but I’m not gonna kill you for,” she flourished her hand, in turn, “whatever. Just listen if I say stop, and we’re good.” Her green eyes flickered back to him, and she looked curious. “Did you have … something you wanted … now?”
“Well as a normal guy I’d never turn anything down.” Tony laughed. “But I think for now I just kinda like this,” he said pulling her in closer. “I’m not completely obsessed with sex ya know.”
